Another very hot night on the trails. Attendance at the top remains a heated battle between two guys who have no lives. It was nice to see someone out there clearing Morton, now if we can only get Malden cleaned.
There was much debate as to whether Liam should earn his full point or not. In the process of bringing his bike out of his car, he "broke" the most important bolt on his bike (the one that held the front end and back together). Despite the accusations of "a hacksaw in trunk" (Jeremy) and "bolt cutters found on the back seat" (Rob), it was determined that he showed up with "full intent to ride" only to be denied because of an unforeseeable (and amazingly unexplained) mechanical. As if to prove his innocence he returned for beers with a witness (nice to see Dave Hamments) who backed up Liam's claims. In the end it was determined that Liam would earn a full point. All I have to say is that his bike better be in full working condition next week. Those that have a problem with that can take it up with the committee.
Also, in a few more weeks Smitty will set a new chips record as well as pass Rodney on attendance based on chips alone.
Just a reminder too as was discussed last year but the spot in Ali's driveway is reserved for the person bringing the beer. Failure to abide by this rule will cost you yours night's attendance. Next up for beers is Liam then Craig.
