And Then There Were 6

Mark patiently waiting for someone
Amazing how last week we had almost everyone out but this week only 6 showed.  Those that didn't show provided lame excuses at best, I am sick, I am tired, my back hurts, ..........You guys should have just done what Ali did, put a "cork" in it and ride.  Beautiful night for our first night ride and even though we pushed back our start time, someone was still not ready.  Wasn't Scotty who came prepared with a new set of sweet lights.  Big changes in attendance.  It is now a 4 way tie at the top.
Beer for next week is Rob (you better show!)
Good thing we had light tonight

Charge Up the Lights!

Ian powering up the hill
Kind of an unmotivated night tonight for many of us for various reasons.  The biggest news (other than Jim and Ali getting caught holding their weenies (not each others)) is that we are going to lights and 6:30 next week.  So don't wait until Tuesday night to make sure your lights are working (Jay, Dave).
We should probably discuss some kind of late penalty for Rob regarding the beer.  We were waiting for about half an hour and finally Mark showed up with bevvies left over from the weekend.  If it is your turn for beer.......Rob can't make next week so that means Dave, then Rob.

Ian also wants to add something to the constitution about if a fellow rider runs over your wheel and ruins it, there should be some sort of penalty.  Normally I would disagree but the rider in question has a long history of riding too close and constantly bumping wheels with others.  Clearly the fault here does not lie with Ian, even if he did take down half the forest in his crash.
Disappointed that no one blogged about the Michigan game festivities/shenanigans.  Was looking forward to the pics and stories of the day.  Oh wait, those that know how to blog don't even remember the day (Matt excluded).

Ian Goes Big

Wow!  Ian has outdone himself.  Not only did he provide nice and cold Stella's tonight, but he also went out to buy some chips (unnecessary, that is Mike's job and one that he has been seriously slacking at lately).  Great job Ian.  Next up for beers is Rob.  Hopefully he will be in good enough shape to provide the beer next week after pulling me for 100 miles over Collingwood hills.
Another change in the top attendance spot.  Matt has taken over Mark as the top attendance earner.  It doesn't matter that Mark was off doing a half-marathon somewhere.  He didn't get back in time to join the ride.  Congrats Matt!
Don't forget Michigan game this Saturday.  Stay tuned for details.  Did anyone read that email about Scott's kids needing their dad around????  Good one.

Another Hot Night

What a muggy night tonight.  The only thing that helped cool it down was the beer courtesy of Jim.  I guess we can give Ali full points even though he showed up late and apparently rode.  Personally I think he left his house around 7:45 and waited around the corner until he saw us return.  Good one. Next up for beers is Scotty (but he did just buy so let's skip him) and go with Ian then Rob.
